Back in January of 2014 when we first released our online giving platform we didn’t really have a good idea of how it would impact giving at Dayspring. Since that time you have given a total of $79,845.00! What an incredible blessing that has been!
Over the last few months we’ve evaluated the system we use to help you give online and have decided it’s time for a small change. We are thankful for the great folks at Clover Donations who faithfully serve churches but we’re excited to be moving into a partnership with Subsplash Giving. Subsplash already has helped us build a great smartphone app and now they will help us integrate giving with our app and website. The most significant benefit is a easier and quicker giving system for you that will support our growth in the near future.
That said, I wanted to give you, the people who give online, some important details.
We will be closing your previous giving account by Tuesday, May 31st. All of your data will be safely removed and you won’t have to worry about a thing.
You will need to create a new giving account the first time you login to the new system. After that, if you’re using your phone to give you won’t have to login anymore. If you’re using the web, you’ll need to login each time you give.
In the Dayspring App, you can find the link to give by using the menu icon in the upper left corner (it looks like this ) or on the web by clicking here.
In the coming months we will be releasing new features but for now you will notice you can give to specific “funds” like our upcoming “Church Planting Fund” and you can select what type of account you’d like to give with – ACH debit from your bank account or using a debit card. And of course, all of this is protected using industry standard security measures.
Finally, you can access your personal giving information by clicking on the image in the top right corner of the giving screen either on the website or through the app.
